Yogyakarta.. is my hometown, 21 years i've lived here,. But i never explore all this city.
Many people said that a single visit to Yogyakarta is NEVER ENOUGH.
and yesss I agree with them... not because this is my hometown, but Jogja is such a beautiful city!!

Yogyakarta is one of the foremost cultural centers of java. The city is a place to come to connect with centuries of old traditions, culture and the history of Java as well as bask in the friendliness of local people. It is a place with unique charm which seldom fails to captivate visitors. From natural wonders , local art, and traditions , examples of Javanese heritage to delicious culinary delights, Yogya is a city with numerous attractions.

If Jakarta is Java’s financial and industrial powerhouse, Yogyakarta is its SOUL. Central to the island’s artistic and intellectual heritage, Yogyakarta (pronounced ‘Jogjakarta’ and called Yogya for short), is where the Javanese language is at its purest, Java’s arts at their brightest and its traditions at their most visible.

A lot of beautiful and classic place here. Many destination you can go in Yogya. From City tour, Like malioboro , Pasar beringharjo, the famous temple like Borobudur and Prambanan, Or mountaint tour, and a lot of beautiful beach in this city... a many many culinary here... from traditional food until western food you can found here...

this is some picture when i explore my hometown,,, :D
The White sand..
Two hours drive from Yogyakarta finally arrived in Drini Beach.
Drini Beach – A coral island in Drini Beach shoreline splitting into two parts with opposite characters. Quiet East side and the West are fierce, making Drini Beach into a double character beach.
The gazebo

the fierce sun, was kind enough to paint the sky blue, making it the backdrop to the white sand. While a coral island floating lonely in the middle of the ocean.

The gazebo,enjoy the beach..
Selfie time :D

Waiting for sunset...
DInner raminceeeee'..oopss i mean "Raminten" haha
House of Raminten, the name itself is combining between western & traditional. The decoration is totally adapted Java design interior. This is One of The Famoust restorant in Yogya.
TUGU JOGJA is the most popular LANDMARK in Yogyakarta... tugu Jogja..
This monument is located right in the center of the crossroad between the Mangkubumi, Soedirman, A.M. Sangaji and Diponegoro roads.

Jalan Malioboro (Malioboro Street) is a major shopping street in Yogyakarta. It lies north-south axis in the line between Yogyakarta Kraton and Mount Merapi.
Malioboro is the most famous shopping promenade in the city. The street probably has the most concentration of small and personalized sidewalk shops selling anything from exquisite Javanese handicrafts to funky clothes.
The street is the center of Yogyakarta’s largest tourist district surrounded with many hotels and restaurants nearby.

This is only a small part Of the many beautiful Places in Yogyakarta. That's why Yogyakarta is the second "Most Visited Destination" In Indonesia after Bali.
Enjoy Jogja and Love Indonesia :)

about this temple...
this famous Buddhist temple, dating from the 8th and 8th centuries, is located in central java, indonesia.the largest Buddhist monument in the world, it is not hard to see why this is the most visited tourist site in Indonesia. The list of the Seven Wonders of the World has changed many times over the years, and often Borobudur has been included. UNESCO added the monument to its list of World Heritage Sites in 1991, and has been of great influence in restoring the monument to its former glory.

The temple is a massive step pyramid structure made from giant stone blocks, built on a hill, surrounded by valleys and hills. The levels rise up representing the stages of enlightenment.
